The Nigerian Society of Engineers invites Technical Papers for the 2023 National Engineering Conference, themed "Re-engineering the Manufacturing Sector for Competitiveness and Enhanced Economic Growth" from 27th November - 1st December, 2023.

Sub-themes:

• Research output and Commercialization of Innovations, Incubation, and start-ups.
• Value Chain Financing for product development, job creation and wealth generation.
• Establishing Clusters, creating enabling environment and retention of skilled workforce as requisites for Entrepreneurship.
• Promotion of MSMEs for the revival of rural economies.
• Challenges responsible for the decline of the manufacturing sector in Nigeria.
• Structure and performance of the manufacturing Sector in Nigeria.
• Productivity in the Nigerian Manufacturing Industry and its enhancement.
• Championing product development and advancing industrial manufacturing to accelerate economic growth.
• Opening African Continental Free Trade Area (AfcFTA) for Enhanced African Market Penetration and Export promotion.
• Reactivation of the Ajaokuta Iron and Steel Complex to catalyze industrial growth.
